Orthodoxy is more than an app. It is your personal catechism that you can use anytime, anywhere because you don't need an internet connection or any other services*. It is intended for all Christian believers of the Orthodox faith and those who want to get to know Orthodoxy through more than 50 educational topics arranged in six areas.

† the right to be informed – notifications inform you every morning about the feast day for the upcoming day

† a library in your pocket – the entire Holy Scripture, Psalms, Deuterocanonical Books, Book of Hours, Akathists, Ladder, Apocrypha...

† find out - do you need a quick answer? Find it immediately after entering the term you are interested in with just two clicks

† for visually impaired people – a special section adapted for visually impaired people with a larger text display and an option to read aloud

† an environment of your choice – the application supports light and dark themes

† install and use – access to all areas is easy thanks to a clear home screen and simple navigation that is the same on every screen. No complicated settings

† caring about spirituality – your faith, privacy and security come first. When you know that your data, permissions, access to the Internet* or other services, or additional payments are not required for use, you can fully devote yourself to the content

† tradition reconciled with technology – all content is placed in "Google Material Design" for all versions of the Android system from 5.0 to 15.0

† in step with new solutions – the first application in the Serbian language that brings adaptive icons and active shortcuts to the home screen of your phone

† copy and share – when you find the content you want to save in Orthodoxy, just copy and share it directly from any other application

† food for your body - recipes for fasting meals

† stay up to date – you can read news from Orthodox life every day

† listen and watch – useful multimedia content

*an internet connection is not required for the application to work properly. However, if you want to read news, notifications, the Ohrid Prologue or the Apostle, or choose a wallpaper for your device or follow multimedia content, the internet option is mandatory.

Within "Orthodoxy", the user can select the "News" option, which will load news headlines from the Living Words website. Selecting any headline will launch the default browser on the user's device, where the news will be displayed. The authors of the application do not influence the content of the news. The news does not represent the position and opinion of the authors of the application.

Multimedia content - live broadcasts of the Slovo ljubve radio and recordings of lectures are content that is intensive in the use of data transfer (internet). Please use this content carefully, preferably via WiFi. Do not use these options if you are abroad or are not using your home network (roaming).

Audio reading of content in the section for visually impaired persons requires that the user's device be set to Serbian; to have active internet access and an active TTS service.

The dark theme is enabled for users of Android system 10 or later and is displayed if the user has selected a dark display as the theme for the entire system.

To use adaptive (adaptive) icons, at least Android system version 8.0 is required. Using active shortcuts requires at least Android system version 7.1.1.
